“Remember the prisoners as if chained with them–those who are mistreated–since you yourselves are in the body also.”
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You that because of Your Son, Jesus, we have not only a Heavenly Father but spiritual brothers and sisters. Lord, we don’t know all of them. We don’t know all they’re going through, but You do.Â
Father, we pray today for our brothers and sisters who are facing persecution. I pray that they would feel Your presence. I pray that they would feel Your hands upholding them and helping them. I pray for their families, as I am sure they’re scared. Please guard their hearts and minds. Please bring them the peace that surpasses all understanding. Please watch over them and protect them.
Lord, it’s hard to understand all they are going through, but I pray that You would meet them where they are. If they’re weary, give them strength. If they’re hurting, give them healing. If they’re doubting, give them faith. If they’re sorrowful, give them joy. Lord, You are always what we need in every situation,so I pray that right now, You would give them more of Yourself. Help them to know the fellowship of Your suffering.
And, Father, please remind us to pray for them. Wake us up in the middle of the night if need be to cover our brothers and sisters in prayer. We ask and pray all this in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen!
