And we pray πŸ™πŸΎ

Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m laying down the exhausting need to prove myself and stand up for myself. Your word in Zechariah 3:2 says, “And the Lord said to Satan, ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?’” God, I’m so tired of fighting battles I was never meant to fight alone. You’ve already loved me, saved me, and set me apart, and You’re standing up for me even in the private places where I feel tormented and in the memories that still try to shame me. Help me hear You tonight, telling the enemy to be quiet on my behalf. I don’t have to fight this one myself. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? -Psalm 118:6

Core Meaning

  • Divine Presence: The verse highlights that God is actively with and for the believer.
  • Courage Over Fear: Because God offers protection and strength, anxiety or fear of human criticism and threats loses its power.
  • Perspective: It reminds readers that human power is limited compared to the sovereignty of God.
