And we pray, in Jesus’ MIGHTY Name, Amen 🙏🏾

What Praying in Jesus’ Name Means

  • Authority: Believers approach God with the authority and standing of Jesus Christ rather than their own merits.
  • Alignment: It means praying in accordance with God’s will, character, and glory.
  • Connection: As described in GotQuestions.org, the phrase is a heart-level alignment of purpose rather than a ritualistic formula.

Popular Worship Context

The phrase echoes popular modern worship music, such as “Mighty Name of Jesus” performed by Hope Darst and The Belonging Co, which highlights calling on the power of heaven and trusting that opposing forces break in His name.

Watch a live performance of the song “Mighty Name of Jesus” by Hope Darst:

Father LORD, Hallelujah!!! Thank You for Your beyond AWESOME grace. We seek Your face for so many issues in our lives. Your will be done in each of our lives. You have a plan for each of us and we give You ALL praise and  glory as they unfold.

Today  I was led to read about Joseph and his use by Your Essence to save his family and the nation of Egypt and surrounding areas. Father, there is nothing like Your will and Word. We hold on fully to Your promises:

Core Categories of Biblical Promises

• Strength and Guidance: God promises to renew strength when weary and direct the paths of those who trust Him (Isaiah 40:31; Proverbs 3:5-6).
• Forgiveness and New Life: Through Christ, God offers complete pardon for sin and makes believers a new creation (1 John 1:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17).
• Provision and Peace: God promises to supply daily needs and grant a peace that surpasses human understanding (Philippians 4:6-7, 4:19).
• Future Hope: The Bible promises the return of Jesus, the resurrection of the dead, and the ultimate end of all death and suffering (John 14:2-3; Revelation 21:4).

These we hold on tightly to, believing, receiving and knowing our portion in and through Your Essence.
We seal Your mark on us in Jesus’ Name, and dedicate our always into Your hands.
In Jesus’ MIGHTY Name we pray, Amen 
