Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m asking You to help me stop thinking about all of the worst case scenarios of things that could happen. Your word in 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” God, I’ve taken small moments, a delayed text, an awkward conversation, and turned them into stories filled with fear that You never had a part in. Help me not let what I see shake what I already know about Who You are. Yes, I may see problems in front of me tonight, but I know Your promises are true. Give me an unshakable faith that trusts You over my imagination. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
