And we pray đź™ŹđźŹľ

Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m thinking about the times You’ve shown up in ways I never could have made happen on my own. Your Word in Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” God, there have been moments where I didn’t know how I was going to make it, and You provided in ways that felt like nothing but You. Help me trust You tonight with whatever I’m worried about and know that just like You’ve come through before, You will come through again in ways I cannot even imagine. Thank You for being a God Who sees exactly what I need even before I even ask. I give this night to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

Psalm 34:10

Meaning and Context

  • Symbol of Lions: Young lions represent physical strength, self-reliance, and fierce hunting capability. Even the strongest animals in the natural world can face scarcity and go hungry.
  • God’s Provision: The verse contrasts raw human or natural strength with dependence on God. Those who actively seek, trust, and revere the Lord are promised that their true needs will be cared for by divine wisdom.
  • Context in Psalm 34: Written by David during a time of trial, the psalm encourages believers to “taste and see that the Lord is good”, turn away from evil, and pursue peace.
