Dear God, thank You for this day, and thank You for caring about what’s going on in my heart, not just what comes out of my mouth. Your Word in Psalm 19:14 says, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.” God, something is always affecting my thoughts, and I want it to be You instead of this world. Help me think on what’s true and pure today, especially on the days it feels easier to get negative. Guard my words too, because I know they carry weight and can build someone up or tear them down. If there are old words spoken over me that I’m still carrying, break the hold of every one of them and let Your voice be louder than all of it. Thank You for being my strength and my Redeemer. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
