Dear God, thank You for this day and for Your Word that never fails, even when everything else around me shifts and changes. Your Word in Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.” God, people let each other down, promises get broken, and even my own best intentions fall short sometimes, but Your Word has never once failed. I put all of my trust and hopes in You. Help me examine what I’m really trusting today, and if it’s not fully rooted in You, shift my foundation and focus back to The One Who never changes. I want to build my life on something that I can actually hold on to with joy, peace, and hope; and that’s Your truth. Be my shield in whatever I face today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
