Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m reminded that forgiveness isn’t just for the person who hurt me, it’s for everyone watching how I handle it. Your Word in Colossians 3:13 says, “Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.” God, just like Esau ran to embrace Jacob instead of seeking revenge, I want to be someone who chooses peace over payback. Show me who is watching how I carry my hurt, and help me show forgiveness for them the way You’ve shown it for me. I give this night to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
