Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’
am asking You to help me let go of the old code I’ve been living by, the one shaped by my past hurts and hardened defenses. Your Word in 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” God, I have had reasons to not trust people, and guard my heart, but I don’t want my past to keep dictating my future. Give me a new code tonight, one that reflects Your grace, Your patience, and Your willingness to extend trust even when it’s hard. Help me pause and pray before I take a stand and lead with a heart that reflects You. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
