Dear God, thank You for bringing me through another day. As I get ready to rest tonight, I’m reminded that the enemy operates in darkness because he fears what happens when things come into the light. Your word in Ephesians 5:11 says, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” God, help me continue to carry Your light with confidence, not stepping back when the enemy tries to catch me off guard or overwhelm me with the things of this world. The more I tell the world about who You are, the more his plans get exposed. Let me rest tonight knowing that darkness has no real power over what You’ve placed inside me. I give this night completely to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
